Rafting on the Rogue River

White water rafting on the Wild and Scenic section of the Rogue River with Marc and Rogue Wilderness on a 4 day camp / lodge float was a blast.  Stop back for movies from the trip soon.

Scroll down past the pictures to the map and give it a few minutes…  it maps where the pictures were taken on the river…  pretty cool!!

  1. WOW! That must have been quite an experience…Did some people kayak by themselves all the way, or just anyone could take a turn if they wanted to?

Did Mark really enjoy the trip and all the sights? Oh, and how a
bout those bears – did they venture very close?

    • The kayaks were for everyone to take turns in… fun, but more work then worth it on the flat water.

Marc has told me repeatedly that he had a great time and we’re already making plans for next summer for him and a few other people to come out and do it again!! The bears never bothered us, never came into camp… the rattle snakes on the other hand, were a different story. We killed two of them the first night and I have the rattles from one of them to prove it.

Loving Southern Oregon… the mountains, the water, the smoky air from the wildfires…
